Ok, all y'all freelance types. Come swing by Hamilton Park Ale House on Friday, December 5th between 6:30-9:30 to say hi, catch up, network, swap stories, cry in your beer, etc. Bring yourself, a good attitude, a firm but friendly handshake, a couple of business cards and a few bucks to tip the friendly staff. Ok folks, we turned our clocks back this weekend, and suddenly realized what time it was. Time to have another Freelancer meetup! It's been tough to lumber out of hibernation this winter, but I hope you'll join us at this Hibernian*- inspired (that's "Irish" to you and me) bar and restaurant, Trinity, on the waterfront in Hoboken. Hopefully, everyone will have recovered from any St. Patrick's day over-indulgences by then (or are keen for extending the revelry) and meetup with us for a pint or two (or three ). Also, this spot has some tasty eats too. Kindly RSVP so we can reserve a spot. Slainte!

get off the PATH in hoboken. make a left. walk a little. you're there. good. (need more detail? ok. here:) Buskers is located at 94-98 Bloomfield Street on the corner of First Street, just behind City Hall. One block to the East is Washington Street. One block West is Garden Street. Just a short walk from the Path, Light Rail and NJ Bus and Transit Station.

hey there. the next meetup is a week away. . .and it's going to be in hoboken. place to be decided but will be close to the PATH. here's the deal, last few meetups we've had a lot of "yes" and "maybe" RSVPs and then no-shows. so, in order to get a better sense of who's showing, i'm going to get rid of the "maybe" option and hope that if you RSVP "yes" that means, well, "yes." i'll be in touch soon with details of the location. and i'd really like to see more of you this time. if you're a hibernator or just crazy-busy and think we'd be better taking a hiatus for the winter, let me know. i want to meet you all and give you a chance to meet and interact with each other. . .but i really need to see more interest and enthusiasm. if it guilts you into showing up, consider it a belated b-day get-together for me. i'll be turning on saturday--so here's to new friends and opportunities. xo,

plus, i'll be there. wow, that's four spectacular pluses. (ew, that word looks really weird. "pluses." pluses. bleh.)
ANYWAY. . . From NYC by PATH: Take the Path train from either: 33rd Herald Square, 23rd/6th Ave, 14th/6th Ave, 9th/6th Ave or Christopher St/Hudson. Take the Newark or Journal Square (JSQ) train to the Grove Street stop. Upon exiting the turnstiles, take the escalator and turn left once on the sidewalk. Continue to walk up on Newark Ave. Skinners Loft is located on your right at 146 Newark Ave. easy-peasy.

the freelancers have spoken. . .and our next gathering will be on tuesday, august 28th at 7pm in hoboken. ok, sugardumplings: this time we'll be hanging at the dubliner in hoboken. because i'm so incredibly considerate, i couldn't have made it any easier for you all to get there--just tumble off the path and walk a block. (you're welcome.) and cross fingers for great weather--because the rooftop bar will be ready to accommodate us! and there are specials on bud/bud light and corona. same rules as before: be brave, show up, mix and mingle. looking forward to seeing you. make sure you find me and say hello.
