Introduction
Hi-I'm a freelance costume designer. I am planning to move to Inwood and would love to meet people in the neighborhood.
Where do you live in New York? Please be precise - this will help me determine if meeting locations need to be varied to accommodate members. What do you do for a living, how long have you do it? Is there a particular day of the week you are busy?
Right now I live in Hell's Kitchen. I am a freelance costume designer. I've been working in theater in some form or another for a scary number of years. I have also worked for about 10 years at the Ford Foundation, but left recently to really push my design work.
Do you see yourself attending meetings regularly? If you live out of state, this probably isn't the group for you, since face-to-face conversation is so important. There will be nothing on this site except notice of the next meeting and comments.
Yes, hopefully I will be living in the neighborhood by June.
