Blogging for Business Two-Part Series

Blogging is the single best thing a small business can do to grow exponentially, and here's why: because of the fact that you're adding fresh content regularly, a blog can get much better search engine rankings than a static website would. You've heard of SEO - people pay experts a lot of money to get their sites optimized. Adding a blog to your website does exactly the same thing, but for zero money (very important for Mogulettes on a tight budget)! And best of all you get to create and control the message you put out about your products and services.

In this two-part series I'll take you through starting your own blog using free software programs, then deciding what to put in it and finally making sure it gets noticed by the blogosphere and beyond!

When:
Part I - Software and Content - July 8
Part II - How to Promote It - July 22

Time: 6:30pm-8:30pm

Where:
Hunter College, SE corner of 68th St. & Lexington Ave., 14th floor Solarium
Directions: #6 train to 68th St. stop
