Welcome, Los Angeles Cooks, Chefs and Gourmands!

Our group is founded on the proposition that the enjoyment of cuisine and food cultures can establish a special camaraderie within a group of friendly people. We are a group of professionals and amateurs, working in all manner of careers, all equals who enjoy food preparation. That is, we like to have fun COOKING!

Folks of all levels of skill at cooking are welcome. Many of us at all levels find great pleasure in teaching new cooks or seasoned chefs what we know. We delight in sharing our skills, secrets, and tips.

In each others' homes, kitchens, and back yards, we volunteer as "Host", to really do some cooking, eating, learning languages and cultures, and story-telling. We'll gather to trade recipes, ideas, cookbooks, and discuss all of the magic encountered in the kitchen! We'll also have outings and day trips to tour farms, vineyards, and farmer's markets, wine tastings, and sometimes perhaps, dine out.
